KM Teacher of the year
Three R’s are thrilled to be sponsoring the KM Teacher of the Year. We have sponsored the event since 2012. Out of hundreds of entries from NQT’s, Headteachers, Pupils and Non Teaching Staff the team of judges whittled down the entries to the overall winners. It is amazing to read all the fantastic entries and then meet the overall winners at the prestigious Leeds Castle Event.
Making the walk to school cool
Traffic congestion, particularly in the streets surrounding our schools, is a problem that requires action by the community if it is to be tackled effectively.
The walk to school project Kent and Medway Charity Team offers three main packages to ease this problem: walking buses, Walk on Wednesday and Active Bug. In addition we offer the starter package – Green Footsteps.
To varying degrees all improve the health of the children using them, teach vital road safety skills, save parents time and reduce traffic congestion and pollution in the streets around the school.
Three R’s are pleased to be sponsoring the Kent Cooks competition
The aim is to develop the confidence and abilities of young people to prepare meals to a fixed budget, as well as to increase awareness of healthy options and locally grown Kentish produce. The finalists will not only have to cook their dish, they will also have to spend a few minutes explaining to the judges how and why they created it, so confident presentational skills are also needed.
Three R’s will be sponsoring the awards as well as donating money to help with the running and organising of the events.
As an agency working with schools we feel it is our responsibility to aid local events that encourage and inspire the next generation.
